Tai-Heng Cheng Serves as Panelist at National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s 2011 Annual Convention
In November 2011, Tai-Heng Cheng appeared as a panelist on International Business Disputes: Insights from the Inside Players at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA’s) annual convention in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Cheng joined other panel members in discussing new trends in cross-border disputes, including such topics as business considerations that drive the litigation vs. arbitration decision, the risks of litigation in your adversary’s court system and ways to mitigate those risks, the choice among arbitration centers, special challenges facing U.S. companies having disputes with their PRC partners, challenges representing Asian companies in U.S. courts and before U.S. juries, and best practices for managing a company’s global disputes and corporate compliance challenges when doing business in Asia.
