DAMIAN R. CAVALERI

Damian R. Cavaleri focuses on general business and securities litigation, representing businesses and individuals. He handles all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal. Recent matters have included representing a third-party design firm in a trademark dispute; assisting representation of a defendant in a white-collar sentencing hearing in which the defendant received a non-custodial sentence; and litigating the propriety of foreclosure proceedings. Mr. Cavaleri has litigated in federal and state courts in New York.
Mr. Cavaleri graduated from Cornell Law School in 2006, where he was elected president of the Environmental Law Society and served as articles editor of the Cornell International Law Journal. He graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was also a Regents’ and Chancellor's Scholar. Previously, Mr. Cavaleri was an associate at Schulte Roth and Zabel LLP in New York City.
Mr. Cavaleri is an advisory board member of the Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center in New York City and the Black Bear Film Festival in Milford, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
