Overview

Lauren Martin is a litigator specializing in commercial contract and employment litigation, class actions, and internal investigations. She has experience with all stages of litigation, including drafting complaints, handling motion practice, and negotiating settlements. Additionally, Lauren has extensive experience with managing large-scale and complex e-discovery, and has expertise using several major e-discovery platforms.

Prior to joining Hoguet Newman Regal & Kenney in 2020, Lauren was an associate at Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP and DLA Piper, where she was involved in various complex commercial and employment disputes and internal investigations.

Secured a favorable decision in a motion to dismiss in a wrongful death suit where decedent’s next-of-kin had already received workers’ compensation.

Successfully defeated a motion for reconsideration in an employment dispute.

Participated in a large-scale, public, government investigation of JFK Airport, including contributing policy recommendations, attending and assisting with witness interviews, drafting interview memoranda, drafting sections of the final report, edited the report, and attended the final press conference.

Participated in a complex internal investigation of a prominent business in New York City, implicating issues relating to employment law, tax, corporate governance, and criminal law.

Supervised review and production of documents requested by the Department of Justice in connection with a potential multi-million dollar merger between two prominent technology companies.
