Profiles in Diversity Journal Names Randi May and Miriam Manber to Women Worth Watching List
New York—June 20, 2019—Hoguet Newman Regal & Kenney, LLP partner Randi May and associate Miriam Manber have been named to Profiles in Diversity Journal’s 2019 Women Worth Watching list. The annual award celebrates women across the globe for their achievements inside and outside of the workplace.
For more than 20 years, Randi has successfully advised employers and executives in all aspects of the employment relationship, with a focus on counseling, advice, and litigation avoidance. She has experience counseling a broad range of clients on issues concerning sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation, workplace investigations, compensation, wage and hour issues, and all other federal and New York state and city laws governing employment. She was recently named to The National Law Journal’s 2019 Employment Trailblazers list.
Miriam is a trial lawyer with experience litigating commercial contract, employment, and civil rights matters. She regularly defends public agencies, including railroads, and has won rare defense judgments under the Federal Employers Liability Act and the Federal Railway Safety Act. Recently, she helped secure a multimillion-dollar jury verdict for a foreign credit card issuer against MasterCard. She sings with and serves on the board of the New York City Bar Chorus, a legal volunteer organization that performs at nursing homes, rehab facilities, and other places where music makes a difference.
