HNRK Secures Appellate Victory Affirming $11.5M Condominium Ownership in Bryant Dispute
HNRK is pleased to share a significant appellate victory in a long-running dispute involving The Bryant condominium in Manhattan. Today, the First Department affirmed an order that granted summary judgment to our client, securing title to two condominium units with an $11.5 million purchase price and voiding a mortgage improperly recorded by a former business partner.
The case presented complex issues, including an initial investment structure tied to a developer entity, an option to convert the investment into title to the units, and a mortgage recorded by an insider with knowledge of our client’s prior interest in the property. Despite these challenges, HNRK successfully obtained summary judgment at the trial level without discovery—now affirmed on appeal.
This result underscores HNRK’s ability to navigate intricate real estate and commercial disputes and deliver decisive outcomes for our clients.
